Whitney Shea, PTA, PMA-CPT
Whitney has a degree in Integrative Physiology from The University of Colorado – Boulder, as well as certifications in Pilates and yoga. She has both an Advanced Teacher Training and a Master’s Program certification from The Pilates Center in Boulder, as well as both Power Yoga and Yoga Sculpt certifications from CorePower Yoga. She has taught Pilates and yoga in numerous studios and physical therapy clinics in Texas, Chicago, and Colorado, and is thrilled to be teaching Pilates at Physical Therapy of Boulder.
Whitney graduated from Pima Medical Institute with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and is excited to be integrating this with her Pilates and yoga background. She is a strong believer in treating the body as a whole, and is excited to share her passion for mind, body, and breath with the community!
Whitney lives in Boulder with her husband Billy, their dog Solus, and cat, Tula. She loves the outdoors and feels lucky every day to live in such a vibrant city. On most weekends, you can find her skiing, rock climbing, fly fishing or hiking, and she also enjoys traveling and live music.
