What is not included in my membership?
Primary care services provided through Nextera Healthcare can often address the vast majority of an individual’s health care needs. However, some services are not included in the direct primary care program. Patients are encouraged to combine Nextera Healthcare membership with a high-deductible insurance policy to cover specialist physician and hospital services.
Nextera Healthcare membership does not cover the cost of such services as:
- Laboratory Services
- Medical Imaging
- Specialist Care
- Emergency Department Visits
How does Nextera Healthcare improve the quality of care?
Nextera Healthcare is an affordable health care solution giving patients more convenient access to and one-on-one time with their physician or other primary care provider. With greater access to physicians who serve as health coaches comes improved understanding of one’s individual health care needs, treatment options and potential health outcomes.
When patients are not bound by copay and office visit restrictions imposed by traditional health plans and physicians have more time to get to know their patients, quality of care is greatly improved.
How does Nextera Healthcare save patients money?
The vast majority of one’s primary health care needs can be covered through Nextera Healthcare membership. Our simple, straightforward and affordable monthly payment model eliminates copays, fees for most in-office tests and treatments, and other costs often associated with traditional health plans.
