Lilly is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 35 years of nursing experience in lifestyle medicine and community health. She has a master’s degree in nursing (Drexel University), a doctorate in lifestyle medicine (Southern Adventist University), and holds certifications in lifestyle medicine, health and wellness coaching, plant-based nutrition, and exercise physiology. In addition to serving part-time at LifeMed Clinic, Lilly teaches at Southern Adventist University where she focuses on expanding the role of lifestyle medicine in advanced practice nursing.
Passionate about the connection between faith and health, Lilly believes that the ultimate key for achieving optimal health and well-being lies in understanding and cooperating with God’s restorative work in our lives. She is a strong advocate of faith-based health ministry and has developed training workshops and materials for using a coaching approach in church health outreach programs. Lilly loves to travel, camp, hike, kayak, cook, quilt, and spend lots of family time with her mother, husband, children, and grandchildren. Her favorite moments of each day are the quiet bookends of early morning and evening when she relaxes with a cup of tea, a book or journal, and a purring cat on her lap.
