Kathy Archer, APRN
Nebraska
Gretna
I am Kathy Archer, a nurse practitioner, and I will be working full-time in the Gretna clinic. I started my healthcare as a nurse working in pediatrics and then moving into intensive care. I decided to further my education in order to be able to care for people in a primary healthcare setting. I specialize in family medicine because I love to take care of people of all ages. Preventative healthcare is an area to which I devote much time and energy. I believe it is my responsibility to provide these services to the community in order to keep everyone as healthy as possible. I will spend as much time as it requires to teach my patients about their health and the skills they need in order to maintain optimal functioning. I am originally from South Sioux City, Nebraska. I received my BS in nursing from UNMC in 1994 as well as my master’s in nursing in 1998.
I have been working in Family Medicine since getting my nurse practitioner certification. Previously I worked in Thornton, Colorado and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
I am married to Jeremy and have three very energetic boys. I enjoy sports, scrapbooking and especially spending time with my family.
I am very excited to be part of Gretna Family Health and look forward to serving you and your family for many years to come.
