Casey Aguirre, DO

Glenwood Springs

Dr. Aguirre is an energetic and passionate individual who feels wellness is based on the principles of unity of the human body. The body’s ability to regulate and literally heal itself, the interrelationship of structure and function, and the use of manipulative treatment in the total care of the patient are the “backbone” of his philosophy.

He received his BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah in 2004, graduated from LECOM for Medical school in 2009, Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2012. Dr. Aguirre considers his greatest accomplishment to be his family. He and his wife Ashley of 20+ years have four boys (Jackson 15, Grady 13, Kasen 11, and Graham 7). He speaks Spanish fluently.

He sees himself as a guide and coach when it comes to his role as a physician. He desires to help support one’s healthcare decisions and find meaningful connections with his patients on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. He believes the best way to treat disease is with prevention.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Aguirre enjoys everything involving family time, winter sports, fishing, hiking, camping, trail running, or anything outdoors. He is an avid baseball fan. He is excited to continue to bring his enthusiasm for life and medicine to patients here in Glenwood Springs.

Dr. Aguirre is excited at this refined access to innovative care which allows him the freedom to treat the patient with fewer barriers and aligns well with his own philosophies of wellness.
