Abbey Pikul attended the University of Colorado achieving her Bachelor and Master’s degree in the Science of Nursing and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the AANP. She has a background in cardiac critical care, community health, and acute care. She has been working in for the UCHealth system as an Emergency & Trauma NP since 2012 and continues to work at UCHealth in Colorado Springs part-time. She has been a clinical instructor with UCHealth since 2015. Abbey has participated in multiple medical relief efforts including missions in Honduras, Brazil & Hurricane Katrina Relief. She is passionate about research, medical innovation, and preventative medicine.
She and her family moved to Buena Vista in 2017 secondary to her husband, Justin’s career with the State Patrol. He was raised locally. They have 3 young children Emerson, Deacon, and Lachlan. She enjoys trail running, coffee, and visiting her family’s farm as often as possible.

Beth has been with Our Town Medical from the very beginning, serving as head nurse and clinic manager, and continuing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Beth is originally from Louisiana, and earned her B.S. in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She started her nursing career at Christus Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport where she worked in Medical Surgery, Orthopedics, Telemetry, and Post Partum.
Beth moved to Buena Vista seven years ago, serving as camp nurse at Frontier Ranch and as a home health and hospice nurse at Premier Home Care before joining Our Town Medical in 2014.
Beth and her husband, Matt, reside in Buena Vista with their children.
Eric Gibb, MD

Eric Gibb, MD, is the founder and lead medical provider at Our Town Medical. He started the practice in October 2014 after becoming frustrated with the bureaucracy of traditional medical offices and health insurance that prevented him from practicing medicine the old fashioned way.
Doc Gibb received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from Stanford University. He attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his family practice residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He has been a family physician in Buena Vista for the past 17 years.
Doc Gibb is active in the Buena Vista community: he is the current vice president of the Buena Vista Optimists Club, serves as the lead community member on BV Peaks, an organization dedicated to building new school facilities in Buena Vista, and is serving a four-year term as an elected Town Trustee.
Doc Gibb met his wife, Diane, when they were both students at Stanford University over 30 years ago. They have two daughters: Taylor is a senior at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, and Hayden is a junior at Buena Vista High School.

Jill has lived in Buena Vista, CO for 7 years with her daughter Eva, and dog Baylee. She is originally from the Adirondack mountains of upstate NY where most of her family still resides. She has a Bachelor of Science in biology and then went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Desales University in Pennsylvania and then her Masters in Nursing and FNP through Regis Denver as part of their first Rural FNP cohort. She now specializes in Neurology and practices in the outpatient setting at the Neurology clinic in Salida through HRRMC. She was part of the COVID-19 Incident Command team at the local hospital and was instrumental in developing policies and triaging employees for a local hospital. Her nursing background is mostly in the ER, has been a flight nurse for rotor wing, has Neuro ICU experience along with school nursing and home care. She has been with Our Town Medical since February, 2020.
