Alberto Rengifo, MD
Regarded by his long-time patients as a genuinely caring physician, Dr Rengifo focuses his practice on the most basic and simple needs of his patients. Listening, Understanding and Compassion. With more than 35 years of experience, he started practicing in his native Colombia. He received his Medical Degree from the Escuela de Medicina Juan. N Corpas in Bogota, Colombia. After 15 years of practice, he moved to the United States and completed his Family Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University.
Dr Rengifo started his solo private practice in 2007, in the traditional insurance model until 2017, when he migrated to Direct Primary Care, all while maintaining his service as Emergency Medicine Physician until 2021.
Board Certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine, Dr Rengifo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his focus on building strong relationships, empowering patients to take control of their well-being and utilizing a unique blend of traditional and functional medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr Rengifo enjoys cooking at home, walking the dogs, exercising, and taking time with his wife to visit their three adult children located in different cities in the US.
