Dr. Anna Holzer is a native of Waverly, IA. Before serving as Chief Medical Officer at DoctorsNow, she held positions at Urbandale’s Mercy Family Medicine of Urbandale and Mercy Briarwood. Practicing medicine at DoctorsNow provides her with the rewarding opportunity to help people feel better right away, making a difference in the lives of her patients.
Dr. Holzer lives in rural Polk County with her husband and two small children, where they are renovating their home. Outside of work, she enjoys involvement in church, staying active, and traveling whenever possible.

Dr. Stanek is excited to be back in Iowa practicing innovative medicine at DoctorsNow. On the clinical front, he’s passionate about metabolic health & longevity medicine.
In his free time, he enjoys working out and follows Creighton Men’s Basketball and MMA.

Dr. Eric Stanek is a first-generation family medicine board-certified physician. His education and training closely resemble that of his brother, Dr. David Stanek. Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Dr. Eric Stanek is excited to be back in his home state. With a passion for family medicine, exercise physiology, sleep hygiene, mental health, and metabolic health and wellness, he is happy to meet patients where they are at in their health journey. Dr. Eric is currently accepting new primary care patients at DoctorsNow in Altoona.
He enjoys mixed martial arts and is trained as a boxing instructor. In his free time, he enjoys travel with friends and family and follows Creighton men's basketball.
