Karolina Baker, MD

Osprey
Karolina Baker M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with 17 years of clinical experience. She completed two residency programs in Family Medicine in Miami, FL, and Emergency Medicine in The Netherlands. After graduating from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland, she worked in multiple primary care settings and emergency departments in the USA, England, The Netherlands, Aruba, and Poland. Dr. Baker combines her unique background and experience to create personalized medical care with compassion and competence. She believes the fundamental part of the doctor-patient relationship is giving enough time to address all concerns. Dr. Baker practices conventional and functional medicine, which helps her create an advanced holistic practice.

Dr. Baker chose the direct primary care model because this is the type of medicine she experienced as a child. Her father, who spent 50 years as a family medicine physician, was her role model and inspired her to choose a career as a doctor. Dr. Baker also speaks fluent Polish and Dutch, and she can communicate in Spanish.

Privately, Dr. Baker is a military spouse married to retired Col. Monty Baker. She likes to spend her free time with her husband and kids, going to the beach, practicing yoga, jogging, reading, studying, and cooking healthy meals.
