Maribel Dixon, APRN

Land O' Lakes

Maribel Dixon is an autonomous bilingual family nurse practitioner who is board-certified in Family Medicine from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia where she also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. While obtaining her degrees she was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau. She worked with an internal medicine doctor in New Port Richey for 5 years where she learned chronic disease management. Maribel has served in various nursing capacities throughout the Tampa Bay area since November 2012. Maribel has also had the privilege to teach registered nurses at Rasmussen College as well as precept Nurse Practitioners in the community. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to provide comprehensive and well-rounded care.  She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns, and involve them in the decision-making process.  Her patient-centered approach empowers individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.  Equipped with her deep understanding of internal medicine, she is adept at managing complex medical conditions, diagnosing, and treating illnesses, and promoting disease prevention.  From routine check-ups to preventative care, she prioritizes building strong relationships with her patients to provide individualized care.
