My name is Ashlynn Zerger. I’m originally from Kansas (GO JAYHAWKS!) but moved to Texas in 2014. I’m married and have a son. I enjoy watching sports and being outdoors. I also love sitting down with a good book. I was a cardiac nurse for almost 10 years prior to graduating with my Master’s in Nursing from the University of Arlington in 2019. I have been practicing as a family nurse practitioner since. I truly value the relationships I build with patients and the trust they have in me as their provider. It is important to me that patients feel valued and empowered to take part in their care and decision making regarding their health. I strongly believe in focusing on disease prevention through promoting healthy lifestyle. I’m excited to start my new journey here at Mid-Cities Direct Primary Care!

Hi all! I’ve been in Dallas for most of my life and grew up here. I received my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017, then attended medical school at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with my Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2021. I graduated from residency training at the Medical City Arlington Family Medicine program. I enjoy what I do and am honored to be giving back to the community that’s taught me so much and continues to teach! Some areas of interest of mine are women’s health, weight loss medicine and mental health care. As a DO, I look at each patient as a whole to make sure all aspects of your health, both mental and physical, are cared for. That’s one of the many reasons I decided to join this DPC practice- to be able to spend quality time with my patients and provide comprehensive care. I hope to see you in clinic soon and look forward to caring for you and your loved one’s!
Some things about me- I love my dog, Moose, and you’ll probably be seeing some pics of him when you come to visit. I’m really family oriented and I spend most of my free-time with my fiancé, pup, family and friends. We like being outdoors (when the TX weather permits), taking Moose to our local dog park, trying out new restaurants and traveling. I enjoyed gardening while living in Arkansas and now I’m in the beginning stages of growing my own garden of fresh veggies and herbs.
