Becky McGilligan, M.D.
Dr. Becky McGilligan has a passion for helping people become and stay healthy. She is driven by the belief that her patients are not simply the sum of their body parts and illnesses, but instead subscribes to the “whole person” view of healthy living. Physical exercise, a healthy diet, and a healthy mental outlook are just as important as lab values. It is this body-mind-spirit view that helps her get to know her patients and find ways to work together with them to get them to true health.
Dr. McGilligan knew from a young age that she was born to be a physician and structured her life in a way to accomplish that goal. She graduated from The University of West Florida (summa cum laude) in 2004 and The Florida State College of Medicine (summa cum laude) in 2009. While in medical school she was inducted in to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, an honor reserved for the top 10% of graduating physicians. She was honored to receive the J. Ocie Harris Outstanding Student Award, signifying that her alma mater considered her “the best all-around promise of becoming a physician of the highest caliber”, the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Citation denoting “female student who demonstrates leadership, service, and advocacy and rank in the top 10 percent of the graduating class”, as well as Florida Geriatrics Society Award for “outstanding student in geriatrics”.
She and her family moved to Cincinnati after medical school graduation for her residency at The Christ Hospital. She completed her internal medicine training and Chief Resident year in 2012 and went into practice in Anderson Township where she has been since 2012.
Recognizing that today’s traditional primary care model did not provide her patients with the care and access she believed in, she decided to go out on her own and create McGilligan MD Direct Primary Care. Dr. McGilligan envisions medical care as a relationship between the doctor and the patient: private, without interference from insurance companies and regulation. She feels that the patient should be able to make the decisions about his or her life and health, not an overpaid executive.
Outside of the office, Dr. Becky enjoys spending time with family. She’s an avid science fiction fan and enjoys exercising.

Francis Dumont, MD
A longtime Mt. Washington and Anderson resident, Dr. Frank Dumont is a beloved figure in the local community. Having survived the infamous Beverly Hills Supper Club fire as a young man, his call to action was to help others based on this experience. He joined the Anderson Twp. Fire Department as a volunteer and trained as an EMT/ Paramedic and Firefighter. This invaluable training led him to pursue medicine.
Besides personal experiences, it is the foundation of faith set up in his early years that sets a precedent for how he treats his patients. “Serving others, especially in the community I grew up in, is a privilege that I feel honored to do each day”. That value on the doctor/patient relationship is the type of care you can expect from Dr. Frank at McGilligan MD.
Dr. Frank forms his patient relationships by gaining trust through active listening. Getting to know you and helping to coordinate your care is a principle he lives by.
Outside of the office, Dr. Frank enjoys music and spending time with his six beautiful grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls, ranging in age from 12 to 27.

Katherine Dumont, MD
Dr. Katherine Dumont loves being a doctor, but it wasn’t her first choice for a career path. From the time she was young, Katie loved reading and poetry and wanted to be a poet and children’s book author. It wasn’t until high school that she realized this was a rather impractical career plan, so she turned to her second love of science and decided to pursue medicine instead. Almost 2 decades into her career, Katie is sure she made the right choice!
Katie was born and raised in Anderson Township and always hoped to end up back there as a practicing physician. She went to University of Dayton for her undergraduate degree, where she earned a BS in biology with a minor in English Literature. She returned to Cincinnati for medical school and graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2004, finishing just over a decade after her father! Katie then completed residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy MI before returning home to Cincinnati with her young son to begin practicing as a family doctor in Anderson Township, initially as part of her dad Frank’s practice, and then as part of The Christ Hospital Health Network. After twelve years as part of a traditional primary care practice, Katie realized that the demands of the insurance companies no longer allowed her to practice the thoughtful patient-centered type of medicine that she loved. She was drawn to the direct primary care model because it allows her to take the time to strengthen relationships with her patients, the cornerstone of all good primary care practices.
Katie spends her time outside of the office trying to convince her teenage son to play board games and hanging out with her herd of cats. She is a health and fitness enthusiast, and most recently joined Pure Barre. Katie also loves crime dramas and detective novels, and frequently browses the mystery/thriller section at Joseph-Beth Bookstore looking for the next great novel.
