Amy Nayo, MD

Durham

Dr. Nayo is a family medicine physician. She joined Unorthodoc in 2020 after practicing broad-spectrum family medicine in a rural community in North Carolina.  Peace Corps service in Togo, West Africa prior to medical school is where Dr. Nayo found her spark for service and medicine. She chose primary care because she believes in the power of relationships and preventive care.  Like Dr. Annis, she knows that physicians and patients, not administrators and insurance companies, should be making health care decisions.

Dr. Nayo enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, trail running, gardening and cooking vegan meals for her family.
