He received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in exercise science with a special interest in sports medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at the Naval Hospital at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. During those years he also worked in various civilian hospitals and clinics throughout the region.

Most of his research has focused on the uses of Ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in musculoskeletal injuries and as an adjunct tool to achieve better therapeutic results with joint therapies and injections. He received additional training in the use of ultrasound for these therapies and employs them in patient care today. He looks forward to adding ultrasound to one of Real Health’s offered services in the near future.
