Dane Mosher, DO
Idaho
Hayden
Dane Mosher is an osteopathic, board certified, family physician who joined the North Idaho DPC practice in January 2023. His approach to patient care has been well-received by the local community, due to his strong listening skills, his empathy, and his common sense approach to wellness and medical care. His goals in care are to decrease dependence on medications and to give his patients the information they need to successfully find wellness.
Dr. Mosher has been trained in functional medicine by the IFM (Institute for Functional Medicine), and was certified by them in 2015. He also has been on the board of directors of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine since 2017 and is a past-president. He has found that the tools of functional and environmental medicine have provided effective treatment plans that would otherwise have been missed by conventional methods. Areas that he
especially likes to treat are chronic fatigue, heart disease, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal complaints, autism, dementia, and allergies, and he would especially like to work with patients to prevent all of those conditions as much as possible.
Dr. Mosher grew up near Houston, Texas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from New Mexico State University. He attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, and he completed a 3 year family medicine
residency at East Tennessee State University. Dane is happy to be in North Idaho now, where he lives with his wife Ann Marie and his two children, Andy and Lance. Hobbies currently include gardening, disc golf, cold water exposure, sauna, learning Norwegian, and jigsaw puzzles.
