Kisha Davis, MD
Kisha Davis is a family medicine physician at CHI Health Care. She is a compassionate primary care provider who has great success helping patients manage chronic diseases including diabetes and HIV/AIDS. She also has advanced clinical expertise and interest in the areas of women’s health, adolescent health, and geriatric health.
Dr. Davis is a strong advocate and effective leader in health policy development and implementation. She served as a White House fellow in 2011-2012. She is the Convener for the 2019 National Conference of Constituency Leaders, a conference that focuses on leadership and policy development for family physicians.
She is an alternate delegate at the American Academy of Family Physicians’ (AAFP) Congress of Delegates and continued her service in AAFP as the new physician member of the Board of Directors. More recently, she has served as president and past president of the Maryland Association of Family Physicians.
A passionate educator, Dr. Davis has taught medical students at both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also served as Chief Resident at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Prior to joining CHI, Dr. Davis was a family physician at a federally qualified health center, where she treated an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse population. She has also participated in medical missions to Zimbabwe, Honduras, and New Orleans. These diverse clinical experiences have helped Dr. Davis to form a unique approach to patient care that is based on a deep connection and on building a partnership based on trust and transparency.
Dr. Davis is a proud Maryland native with strong professional and personal ties in Montgomery County.
