Emily McLaurin, MD

Oklahoma City

Emily McLaurin, MD, is a board-certified family physician with 17 years of experience that includes both inpatient and outpatient clinical care, medical education, research, and international medical work. As the founder, she is passionate about caring for the whole person, supporting health in families, and improving primary care in Oklahoma City and beyond. Dr. McLaurin loves taking care of people from all ages and stages of life.

Prior to starting Foundations Direct Care, Dr. McLaurin practiced at St. Anthony Hospital for 5 years and has volunteered as a physician at Ministries of Jesus Clinic for 12 years. She earned her bachelors at Rice Univeristy, medical degree at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX and completed her residency training at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Dr. McLaurin loves adventures: she loves to travel, hike, savor delicious food with friends and family, play the violin and piano, and just curl up with a good book. She embraces her Taiwanese American heritage and loves learning new languages. She is always working to improve her skills in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Spanish and is eager to add more languages to the mix.
